Great talent rarely develops in a vacuum, and the greatest achievements of mankind are often the result of solving the greatest challenges. While you might wonder why such an impressive dog as the Border Collie resulted from herding a rather dumb animal like the sheep, perhaps you’re underestimating the sheep.

Christopher Landauer is a fifth generation Colorado native and second generation Border Collie enthusiast. Border Collies have been the Landauer family dogs since the 1960s and Christopher got his first one as a toddler.
